We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst, experienced in A/B Testing and Experimentation, to join our Data Science team here at Reach. Reporting to the Experimentation Manager, you will use your expertise in experimentation to design A/B tests and analyse collected data to make recommendations to stakeholders on the decisions that they should make.
Please note that this is a 3 month fixed term contract position, with the potential to extend a further 3 months depending on the needs of the team.
Role Location
This is a home based position and so we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK.

Job Description
As the Senior Data Analyst you will perform regular A/B tests and analyses to determine the statistical significance and causal impact of test results. You will contribute to all parts of the experiment lifecycle, from setup to analysis, whilst also defining, creating and selecting the product metrics to track for experiments.
You will translate stakeholder requirements into testable hypotheses and design the experiment(s) to test these, as well as making data-informed recommendations to stakeholders about the impact of experiment variations and advising alternative variations to test.
You will conduct deep-dive analysis to understand user behaviour, uncovering opportunities to grow engagement.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with previous experience as a Data / Product / Growth Analyst, with advanced SQL knowledge for handling and transforming raw data for analysis, and the ability to investigate and identify data quality issues. Experience in A/B testing and experimentation is a must have for this position, as it will be a key aspect of the day to day role.
You have a proficient understanding of statistical principles applicable to A/B testing such as statistical significance, confidence intervals, and power calculations. You are experienced in applying advanced statistical techniques to adjust for potential confounding factors and ensuring the robustness of results.
Nice to have:
- Basic to intermediate Python programming skills for data wrangling, analysis and automation
- Knowledge of quasi-experimental methods of analysis and causal inference
