Since its establishment in 2002, RUSS has been managing the H2S Services Contract for Saudi Aramco covering to date 800+ sour well locations both onshore and offshore.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintenance technician required working 12 hours shift in TOC and on call service and maintenance work in field with clients equipment’s as well as preventive maintenance and trouble shoot of RUSS equipment’s in field. 
  • In TOC technician responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, maintenance, preparation and distribution of equipment to support needs of Rawabi United Safety Services (RUSS) and our clients. They must ensure that equipment is inspected and maintained to the manufacturer’s specifications or above. He is also responsible for ensuring all equipment that is shipped to or received from a RUSS client location is in accordance with RUSS standards and regulations. Ensure proper and secure loading and unloading of equipment for transporting. This technician is required to participate in general shop practice and safety regulations. Required to work 12 hours shift.

Accountibilities:

  • EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE: The Service and Maintenance Technician Shift are responsible for ensuring all equipment owned and operated by RUSS meets or exceeds manufacturers’ specifications. They must perform preventative maintenance and repairs to equipment as per manufacturers’ specifications. This will include cleaning, calibration, and reporting of non-conforming products. Any equipment that is not deemed to meet manufacturers’ specifications shall be removed from service and reported to the Shift Lead or functional supervisor.
  • EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION: The Service and Maintenance Technician Shift are responsible for the timely and accurate flow of material between our internal destinations and also our clients. All equipment dispatched from the shop must be recorded using an equipment checklist and delivery note. Upon return, all equipment must be verified against the outgoing equipment checklist and delivery notes. An Incident and Accident (I/A) report will be initiated for any non-conformities.
  • DOCUMENT AND DATA CONTROL: Maintain appropriate record management, including; recording and maintaining equipment inventory using our Global Asset Management System (GAMS); maintaining equipment maintenance log, any calibration records and equipment manuals both electronic and hardcopies.
  • COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY: Must be able to communicate in English, both verbal and written form to express ideas, goals, and opportunities for improvement within the team.
  • EXERCISE INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Individual must be able to work effectively within a team environment to achieve defined expectations. This can include co-workers, contractors, clients, and any other personnel required.

INSPECTION, CALIBRATION, SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF H2S RELATED SAFETY EQUIPMENT AND FIREFIGHTING SAFETY EQUIPMENT’S ON FIELD ALL OVER THE KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA:

I.     MONTHLY INSPECTION/CALIBRATION SERVICE

•     Inspection, Calibration and certification of Fixed/wireless gas detection system.

•     Inspection, Calibration and recertification of portable gas detectors( Single and multi-gas)

•     Inspection, Calibration and re certification of breathing air compressor sensors

•     Inspection and service of SCBA and SABA packs on rig and rig camp.

•     Inspection and maintenance of breathing air cascade system.

•     Maintenance/inspection of breathing air compressor both diesel and electrical engine driven.

 

II.     RIG UP/RIG DOWN/INSPECTION AND CALIBRATION SERVICE

•     Rig up/Rig down of fixed or wireless gas detection system, breathing air cascade system and SCBA/SABA in rig site as well as Rig camp.

•     Inspection, Calibration and re certification of rig and camp gas detection system

•     Inspection, Calibration and re certification of portable multi and single gas detectors.

•     Inspection, Calibration and re certification of breathing air compressor sensors.

•     Inspection and service of SCBA and SABA packs on rig and rig camp.

•     Inspection and maintenance of breathing air cascade system.

•     Maintenance/inspection of breathing air compressor both diesel and electrical engine driven.

III.   EMERGENCY CALL OUT SERVICE

•     Emergency trouble shoot, inspection, repair and certification of fixed/wireless gas detection system.

•     Emergency trouble shoot, inspection, repair and certification of breathing air cascade system components, breathing air compressor, SCBA, SABA and portable multi and single gas detector.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE JOB

•    Employee must drive to the job location for service and maintenance work all over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

•     Assist the client during H2S drill on site and to refill the breathing air packs.

•     The individual practices apply all safe work procedures including Rawabi United Safety Services (RUSS) policies and procedures, manufacturer’s specifications, regulatory standards and customer standard where applicable. 

•     Support all shop operations as required.

•     Service and maintenance technician may have to support RUSS other projects as required through shop management and operations.

Skills:

  • Competency in working with data and information gathering and analysis.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Only Saudis / Transferable Iqama candidates are accepted to apply.
  • Minimum Instrumentation, Electrical Or Electronic  Diploma degree holder.
  • 2-4 Years Expierence in Equipment Service & Maintainance Field.
  • Incident/Accident Reporting & Procedures.
  • Awareness of Operational QA/QC & Incident/Accident Reporting & Procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance Certification via Manufacturer (i.e. Scott Health & Safety, Detcon, Bauer Field Maintenance, Industrial Scientific, BW).
  • Knowledge of Breathing air system theory & application.
  • Awareness of Shop Process and Control.
