Job Purpose

The main purpose of Oil & Gas Account Manager duty is to pursue all Marketing, Sales, Project Management and Procurement activities of a specific/group of account/s or portfolio assigned to him and related to the oil & gas contracting and service provision at Rawabi Oil and Gas (ROG)

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Accountable to present an implement business plans / visions & objectives on yearly basis
  • Manages accounts to meet budget (revenue and cost) and other non-financial targets
  • Accountable for the marketing and sales of services/products under his span of control
  • Accountable for the successful execution and delivery of services based on contractual agreements
  • Accountable for the successful project management including resource allocation, mobilization, service rendering, inspection, quality assurance and commissioning
  • Accountable for the timely sourcing and pre-qualification and registration of potential suppliers / manufacturers / service providers to meet ROG’s clients requirements
  • Manages the procurement activity ensuring price competitiveness, quality, timing, and reliability of supply
  • Accountable for maintaining good relations with clients and other third parties involved in ROG’s operational activities, including resolving any dispute prior to escalating it to the Services Marketing & Sales Manager
  • Accountable for maintaining & securing long term strong relationship with partners for the benefit & satisfaction level of both parties.
  • Inputs on and resolves difficult technical issues
  • Ensures fast and efficient response to client request

 

Communications and Working Relationships

  • Supports the Services Marketing & Sales Manager with all decisions related to ROG’s contracting  services
  • Complete all tasks as well as objectives in timely manner as set by ROG management.
  • Interfaces with clients suppliers and partners on a regular basis and addresses problems before they are escalated to the Services Marketing & Sales Manager
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization on drilling equipment services issues (operational and other)
  • Interacts and manages direct reports and operational issues on a daily basis
  • Coordinates with Operation Support regarding logistics activities
  • Interacts with suppliers of Oil & Gas contracting material and services
  • Interacts with partners on products and / or services provision 

 

Qualifications

  • BS or BE in Mechanical Engineering
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, organization, and presentation skills
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas contracting services industry
  • Project management experience
  • Previous work experience in Saudi Arabia, GCC is a plus
  • Computer literate
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) – Arabic language fluency preferred
