Job Description

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor’s job is to execute
all warehousing activities and inventory management activities in an efficient
and timely fashion.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Performs various
    administrative tasks in support of warehousing and inventory management
    activities

  • Accountable for the
    proper inspection, handling, loading, storage, and documentation of materials
    received from the suppliers or from other ROG warehouses,

  • Liaison with Government
    Relations department for approval and processing work related requests,

  • Co-ordination with
    Government authorities for compliance visit and obtaining necessary approvals,

  • Submission of Arabic
    reports from warehouse to concern departments for inventory or government
    approvals,

  • Co-ordination with
    departments for shipment inspection, clearance and port operations as per
    requirement basis at land, air or sea borders,

  • Upkeep and safe
    operations of MHE`s in warehouse,

  • Ensuring safe work
    environment by leading his team / operations as assigned,

  • Accountable for the
    timely issuing of materials and products from stock to the project upon request
    and for the proper administration of returned materials or products by the
    operations team, client or supplier

  • Accountable for
    minimizing wastage

  • Accountable for the
    accuracy of the inventory management system at the warehouse

  • Accountable for
    conducting periodic stock inventory, and reports to Warehouse & Inventory
    Manager on slow-moving items

  • Maintains warehouse
    records and information system

  • Adheres to safety
    standards in the warehouse

  • Safely stores hazardous and
    / or cold storage materials (e.g. chemicals), with proper certificates and
    documents (e.g. safety, local authority documents)

  • Oversees the activities
    of Laborers and Operators at the different ROG warehouses

  • Provides support for the
    professional development of staff reporting directly to him

  • Assists the Warehouse
    & Inventory Manager in developing and institutionalizes ROG’s data,
    know-how, and capabilities in warehouse and inventory management

  • Assists the Warehouse
    & Inventory Manager in identifying and tracking key KPIs for warehouse and
    inventory management, and in devising plans and initiatives for improvement

Communications and Working Relationships:

  • Coordinates with Sales Engineers
    and other Services / Products Officers for delivery of traded products to
    clients

  • Coordinates with the
    Sales Engineers, other Services / Products Officers and the Operations Support
    unit for receiving goods from foreign suppliers

  • Coordinates with the Sales
    Engineers, other Services / Products Officers and the Operations Support Unit for
    material retrieval and  inventory
    management or in case of changes in the delivery schedules

  • Coordinates with the Operations Support Unit Head on issues related to Government Relations
    department at Rawabi Holding, such as for obtaining proper documentation (e.g.
    safety, local authority documents) and on issues related to IT department at
    Rawabi Holding, when needed, for management of inventory software

  • Other operations related task on requirement basis.

 

 

Qualifications


  •  Diploma. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical.

  • Minimum 1 year experience
    in supervising stores and inventory

  • Must have Saudi Customs Procedure approval certificate for Inspection and clearance of shipments,

  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferred, and experience in dealing with chemicals is a necessary

  • Workplace safety and 5-S culture

  • Team Management and self-guided approach

  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Technology / computer literate
