Job Description

1. Job Purpose

     Develop and maintain business relationships with a targeted set of operators and contractors in the oil and gas industry. You will generate sales revenue and market share by driving and managing the sales and customer support efforts for your area while also coordinating with Account Managers in other regions. You will lead product introductions specific to your set of accounts and increase Rawabi-Pason’s profile and brand in the marketplace, provide technical support and guidance, pricing information, problem-solving, and training along with general sales and customer service. 


2. Principal Accountabilities

 •Assist in developing strategies for assigned accounts in a long term horizon / on-going business environment. 

•Implement a solutions selling model based on deep understanding of the customer’s business and pain points. 

•Develop high level relationships at the customer’s HQ and regional facilities as appropriate. 

•Drive specific market blitzes and new product introductions to your specific accounts. 

•Perform key account planning to identify and develop business opportunities. 

•Conduct sales calls and make product / service presentations to meet customer needs. 

•Represent Rawabi-Pason within appropriate industry and professional organizations. 

•Ensure prompt investigation of client concerns and provide problem resolutions or referral to appropriate personnel. 

•Act resourcefully and in an innovative way to solve problems and complete tasks 

•Domestic travel required to work and meet with regionally based decision makers within your set of customers. Some international travel to will also be required. Estimate travel as high as 50% at times.

3. Communications and Working Relationships

 •Develop a solid understanding of the customer’s business, technical environment, challenges, and other relevant information to assist in promoting Pason’s products & services.

•Develop relationships within Rawabi and Pason to effectively leverage extensive resources to win and maintain business. 

•Demonstrate excellent listening and relationship building skills but not afraid to ask tough questions to uncover needs and drive at greater customer dependencies.

•Communicate constructively to management and team members on problems, ideas or any other insights to assist in defining new opportunities

•Provide input into the development of product portfolio decisions. 

•Provide customer feedback for the benefit of other stakeholder departments; R&D, Operations, Product Management and senior management. 

•Share customer insights on product performance and related processes to keep the operator, contractor, specialty service providers and Rawbi-Pason informed regarding the value created by Pason products.


Qualifications

4. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Qualifications

 •Must speak English fluently. 

•Fluency in Arabic a plus 

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline or equivalent education and experience.

•Five plus years’ experience in technical sales in the Oil and Gas industry

•Professional, creative and dynamic presence and the ability to communicate with people at all levels within an organization. 

•Demonstrated experience in both a long sales cycle and a long term relationship based business environment. 

•Strong technical knowledge and aptitudes and excellent computer skills; familiarity with oil and gas industry operations as well as industry software and hardware a plus. 

•Excellent written and verbal skills; clearly convey technical information. 

•Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. 

•Strong interpersonal skills. 

•Team oriented and a collaborative work style. 

•Keen intelligence and negotiation skills. 

•Customer focused with strong attention to detail and quality. 

•Knowledge of drilling and related technology and the oil and gas industry preferred.

5. Physical Requirements of the Job - If Applicable

 •Must be able to drive a car and have a valid driver’s license

•While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls. 

•Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. 

•Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
