Job Description

Job Purpose

Instrument technicians are skilled workers in the control and measurement fields.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Instrument technicians deal with devices that are designed to measure, detect and record changes in the construction/industrial environments.
  • While they perform a variety of tasks, several primary responsibilities include the:
     Inspection,Maintenance, Calibration,
  •  Installation and commissioning of instruments 
  • They process analytical and theoretical issues, as well as act as assistants to QA/QC                     engineers in their quality control duties.
  • Calibration and installation of all instrument equipment including cable gland and termination 
  • Perform the functional test including configuration by Hart communicator
    Loop test including & (AI/AO & DI/DO) signal

Qualifications

Qualifications and Knowledge

Minimum education requirement to be an Instrument technician is an associate\'s degree.
Acquiring supervisory positions fields may require bachelor\'s degree (Bachelor of Science B.S).
Minimum 5-10 years experience in constrction field.
Candidates with Iqama transferable is more preferrable
