A well-established company with multiple ancillary services, based in North Orlando, FL, is currently looking for an Marketing Intern.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Creating social media content and manage content calendar
  • Writing content for websites and blogs
  • Creating graphics for websites, ads, etc.
  • Assist with video production and post-production
  • Research and data analysis

Qualifications

    Candidate requirements:

    • MUST be currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from an accredited university (3rd year and beyond) in a degree that is marketing and/or sales related
    • Good standings in schools with average to above average grades
    • Strong writing skills
    • Writing samples may be requested
    • Experienced with social media platforms: FaceBook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn
    • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
    • Preferred knowledge in technology: software
    • Excellent organization skills and must be detailed oriented
    • Must be self driven
    • Must have the ability to work independently
    • Positive, friendly, approachable disposition 

    Additional Information

    Internship is UNPAID. Hours = 3 days/week about 4 hours each day

    The work will be done in our office; however, there could be an opportunity for a portion of the internship to be done remotely. The internship will start in our office and a determination of remote work could be discussed at that time. However, working remotely is not guaranteed.

    Candidate must be comfortable coming into a office setting.

    COVID-19 awareness:
    We are in a large office suite. We are very spaced apart with multiple sanitizing stations. Doors are locked to visitors.

    Candidate must be comfortable with: daily temperature checking and health questionnaire, masks are mandatory. If internship is offered you may be asked to take a COVID-19 test and show proof of negative results prior to starting your 1st day. 

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • MUST be able to listen to any given media with or without reasonable accommodations

    • MUST be able to verbally speak with or without reasonable accommodations – face to face, through landline, through PC phone, through video conferencing and/or other means required to perform job duties

    • MUST be able to view computer screens for the duration of your work shift.

    • Continuous sitting throughout the work shift

    • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift

    • Must be able to work standard office equipment: computers, fax machines, copiers, printers, telephones, etc.

    • Frequent bends, kneels and crouches

    • Visual acuity needs for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer, ability to read small print

    • Stooping and bending to files, supplies, mobility to complete tasks

    • Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing 10-20 lbs

    • Ability to reach with hands and arms

    • Must be able to handle stress, adapt to changing conditions and must be able to work under pressure

    • Work requires hand dexterity for office machine operation, typing, writing.
