Due to expansion, we’re looking for Business Development Managers. Each will play a pivotal role in the growth of Quandoo for Restaurants’ brand in Singapore. Your drive and passion for hunting new business will be what helps you build relationships and acquire restaurants to feature on the Quandoo marketplace.

Quandoo's mission is to improve the way hospitality venues connect with diners in the digital world. Through our marketplace and extensive booking network, we are helping businesses build a strong online presence and increase their bookings. We also provide a selection of SaaS solutions to simplify how they manage bookings, turn tables and build better diner experiences.

Job Description

  •  Cold calling and client meetings (virtual and in-person) to build rapport with potential restaurant partners
  • Proactively maintaining communication channels with restaurant decision makers via email, phone, and in person
  • Conduct demos and develop a solution that best meets the restaurants critical needs
  • Leverage Salesforce (our CRM) to manage all sales activities
  • Be the voice of the customer and share valuable feedback with our team
  • Understand the competitive landscape and determine how to best position Quandoo in the market
  • Meet individual sales and activity KPIs
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless post-sale handover

Qualifications

  •  Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong communication, organisational and presentation skills with the ability to sell and negotiate at all decision-making levels
  • Self-motivated, creative, and flexible with the ability to perform well under pressure
  • Experience canvassing and cold-calling into various types of local businesses, with evidence of success preferred
  • Up to date on the latest restaurant industry trends; knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
  • 1+ year of sales or business development experience preferred
