Airports are at the heart of Qantas’ operation, connecting customers, people and partners across the globe. As the Customer Care Coordinator – South America, you will play a key role in supporting customer care and claims activities across the Qantas Group and our code-sharing partners in the region. Acting as a key liaison between Customer Care, Airports, Commercial teams, Legal stakeholders, and alliance partners, you will help ensure customer issues, claims and operational enquiries are managed efficiently and professionally.
Based in Santiago, you will work closely with stakeholders across Chile, Argentina and Brazil, supporting customer complaint resolution, monitoring customer and claims trends, and identifying opportunities to improve the customer experience. You will also play an important role in supporting alliance operations by providing regular reporting, stakeholder engagement and service recovery coordination.
You'll have –
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- Experience in customer service, customer care, complaints management, claims coordination and service recovery (airline, travel, tourism, airport operations highly regarded)
- Proven ability to manage complex customer issues and deliver positive, customer-focused outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across multiple business functions.
- Highly developed analytical, reporting and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement in fast-paced environments.
- Resilient, professional and empathetic approach to challenging customer situations
- The ability to work and live in Chile (without sponsorship)
