Job Description

  • Work within our International Finance Team to support our offshore business units
  • Take ownership of finance related activities across selected offshore business portfolios, supporting month end close and delivering international reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to practical process improvements and automation opportunities that support more efficient ways of working.

On a day-to-day basis within our International Finance Team, working in a centralised Finance function, you will be a key contact and trusted partner to a wide range of stakeholders across the business. As the Assistant Financial Accountant, you will provide support to the International Financial Controller, senior finance team members and wider offshore teams by performing accounting tasks including balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, tax compliance and month end close activities. This role will also support continuous improvement initiatives, involving simplification, automation and transition of finance activities for the wider International Finance team.

You’ll have –

  • Certificate III or IV in a relevant discipline and 3+ years relevant experience
  • Preferred Experience using relevant finance systems (Oracle R12 & Essbase)
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Motivated self-starter with questioning mind/ analytical skills
  • Demonstrates initiative to solve problems and identify practical process improvement opportunities
  • Strong interpersonal, written, verbal and communication skills
