Job Description
The VP, Programmatic will be responsible for advocating programmatic practices with internal and external stakeholders, and overseeing scalable campaign execution operation and procedures. He/she will be responsible for achieving spend targets through capitalizing on upsell opportunities and organic growth. The ideal candidate drives adoption of Precision service models across Zenith through advocacy, education, and client management.
This highly motivated, detail-oriented individual manages a team of experts who work with agency teams to ensure the value proposition of the Precision offering is fully understood, embraced, and translated into highly successful campaign execution. The VP, Programmatic leads a team responsible for defining innovative strategies for each client with support from the centralized PMX resources. He/she provides strategic thought leadership on process, audience strategies, campaign optimization, and the growth of the Precision operation. It is the VP’s responsibility to ensure that all applicable programmatic techniques and technologies are deployed for optimal campaign performance.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital media buying, with a focus on Addressable Display, Video, Social, Search and Mobile campaign management. The role requires strong analytical thinking ability, excellent presentation skills, experience managing and coaching direct reports in a rapid growth environment, and deep experience in the DSP and exchange-based media buying industry.
As a Zenith thought leader, the VP, Programmatic must possess a strong inner drive to redesign the digital communications landscape, to engage and challenge some of the finest minds in the industry, and to further grow and establish of a new type of media entity for Zenith that seamlessly integrates technology and strategy.
Qualifications
- Manage a team of experts, including Directors and Managers, that own programmatic execution of client campaigns
- Assume accountability and ownership of Precision output, ensuring accurate and best in class planning recommendation are provided both in channel mix and budget allocation.
- Work with existing and new partners across platforms, data and inventory to deliver new and first to market opportunities that deliver on client business objectives
- Maintain excellent knowledge of the media landscape and analytics tools (DSP’, CDP’s, DMP’s etc) while understanding how this marketplace will adapt with the wider market changes in Privacy
- Responsible for the financial and operational success of their assigned team
- Identify opportunities related to platform technology, data and media inventory sources and pursue opportunities for value creation on behalf of clients
- Partner with teams within Zenith, and across PMX including Solutions Consulting, PMX Inventory, Partnerships, Product & Engineering on both internal and external initiatives
- Continuously and creatively improve how Precision is adopted across Zenith
- Deliver thought leadership to client & teams
- Oversee training, mentoring and development of direct reports & drive continued growth in skills and knowledge across full team
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $160,000 - $162,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
