Job Description

We are in search of an exceptionally talented and experienced Experience Designer to assume leadership of a crucial account and spearhead the development of user-centered design solutions across diverse digital platforms. The candidate is expected to be a well-rounded designer with extensive expertise in user experience, UX and UI best practices and a proven track record of driving innovation through design. The successful candidate must exhibit outstanding creative and strategic skills.

In the role of Experience Designer, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of experience design for one of our prominent clients.

Your primary responsibility will be to establish highest visual design standards, best practices for navigation, and interaction design across various cutting-edge digital products.

You will actively participate in important workshop meetings with the client, playing a pivotal role in understanding and shaping their requirements, motivations, and aspirations.

As an Experience Designer, you will possess a profound understanding of user-centered research, design, content strategy, and brand strategy. This expertise will enable you to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams in the development and production of high-quality creative solutions that align with the client's business objectives and goals. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop User Experience Deliverables: Craft customer journey maps, user experience flows, wireframes, and research documents as comprehensive blueprints, guiding design and development teams through user interactions and feature specifications.
  • Evaluate Platform Effectiveness: Conduct thorough evaluations of existing platforms, analyzing usability, visual design, content quality, and branding consistency to identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in Design Sessions and Research Activities: Collaborate in design sessions, lead user testing, and conduct behavioral research to inform design decisions and enhance user experiences.
  • Construct User Experiences and Prototypes: Develop user experiences and prototypes that effectively convey complex relationships, translating user needs into tangible design solutions using wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
  • Lead Requirements Gathering Activities: Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders, capturing user needs and business objectives to ensure alignment and guide project priorities.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial, etc), Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • [5+ ] years of experience.
  • Solid verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients and co-workers
  • Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques.
