You would be working in an agency that is also growing fast. They have an iconic portfolio of more than 70 brands organised by three divisions:  

  • Prestige (including Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu)
  • Consumer Beauty (Including Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Adidas)

The Zenith HQ team directly services Coty’s Global Corporate team you will be joining. Based in London, the team is responsible for the overall management of Coty’s agency relationships, media partnerships, strategic direction, best practice, and operations.

The Zenith Global Coty team based in London and Paris houses a team of multi-faceted media strategists, digital and innovation specialists, and client leadership teams. This team is also responsible for working with the 35+ in-market teams, deploying strategies and innovative best practice as well as day-to-day account management.

Job Description

As our Global Digital Operations Director, you will be supporting our 2 key divisions (Prestige & Consumer Beauty).

  • Data driven marketing is a crucial pillar of our client’s strategy to deliver meaningful experiences to its consumers with data delivering deep insights as well as precision targeting and effectiveness measurement. The client is in an ongoing period of business transformation, and we maintain and close strategic partnership to drive real change
  • You will be managing a team of digital experts

Responsibilities:    

  • This position would see you being a contributor in delivering the overall digital strategic vision for Coty as well as other key associated initiatives.
  • You will collaborate with your colleagues in digital & performance to manage Coty’s relationship with key digital partners for idea generation, added value research, always on  innovations  and  on-going  market  performance  monitoring
  • You will be instrumental and lead the overall day to day operations and delivery of our PGD Hub, working closely with the Hub Lead and Head of Performance, ensuring optimal and seamless day to day delivery and operations
  • Working as an integrated team within digital, across both performance + data & analytics
  • Educate and support the client on digital and data programme to ensure the client is learning how to best use digital
  • Partner with key vendors/internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for the best use of technology, upskilling and ensuring the activation teams are fully onboarded on the latest solution available
  • Create and deliver automation roadmap for operations and activation functions
  • Drive improved ways of working
  • Ensure all new team members joining both local onshore and offshore teams have been onboarded on the ways of working and have support required on ongoing basis
  • Drive action focused solutions for any gaps in the process identified as hub solution is maturing and evolving.
  • Ensure pick seasons have upweighted support and if require bring contractors to ensure operations are not suffered from the seasonal picks
  • Oversee financial governance and compliance

Qualifications

We are looking for a brilliant digital driven marketer who can tell compelling stories through data. And gain buy-in across a wide variety of stakeholders.

  • A strategic and big-picture thinker, grounded in digital, analytics and optimisation, able to uncover strategic insights that can help create, shape, and transform overall client (digital) strategic direction through a media strategy and communications plan
  • Natural curiosity and desire to help clients achieve goals
  • Commercial, naturally driven, and high energy to constantly rise to the challenge – accustomed to delivering commercial outcomes for the agencies
  • Have contributed to the management of £150m+ million budgets at a global level
  • You will be confident in presenting both internally and externally
  • Proficiency in ad tech and marketing automation systems, including Adobe, Salesforce, and Oracle
  • Experience briefing a team of specialists and the ability to bridge planning and specialist execution. A brilliant operator with clear understanding of process and timing
  • Experience with FMCG / CPG – Beauty or Healthcare experience a bonus.
  • Someone who can clearly and convincingly articulate the role digital channels play in the marketing landscape, contextualize the value of digital for overall client business goals and explain sometimes complex thinking in simple language
  • You will be a strong digital practitioner, with experience gained from within a media agency or digital specialist agency.
  • You are a self-starter, keen to help others develop client value from digital, visible to the wider team, inspirational yet approachable
  • Solid experience within digital marketing with a strong focus on direct response/ROI driven marketing (display in programmatic, social, search, affiliates).
