Working locally and globally we service client accounts across Publics Media’s three UK agencies; Zenith, Starcom and Spark Foundry.  Often working alongside other Publicis practices and services we collaborate to deliver best in class work with seamless project management.

The PMC team is 70+ strong and growing.  Media partnerships is at the heart of what we do, working with broadcasters, social media publishers, print partners and increasingly gaming and metaverse partners, we activate over 100 campaigns each year.  We have a growing team of social and influencer specialists producing content to fulfil client needs in paid and owned channels.   The fastest growing part of the team are our content insight consultants.

Job Description

The Strategy & Consultancy team are the strategic leads for Publicis Content.  In this important role, the Content Strategy Director is essentially a consultant to our clients, and the first contact point for client briefs, using search, social and other data sources to help clients make the right choices about how to approach the challenges of making and distributing content. Working with agencies across Publicis Groupe, you will give expert insight in how best to make brilliant content. 

What will you be doing?

All the specialists in our team work across multiple clients and categories. Our largest current clients are Disney, NEOM, Essity (Bodyform, TENA, etc.) and Nestlé, and you can expect to work on all of these at some point.  Your main client in this role due to growth will be NEOM, a huge, market leading construction and city planning company based in Saudi Arabia. You'll be responsible for:

  • Working closely with planning teams to translate client business goals and audience needs into meaningful content strategies
  • Helping clients move from their strategic goals to content development, working closely with the content studio to produce effective content
  • Leading teams in deep research on the content landscape to drive innovative, actionable content plans across web, social, influencers and partnerships
  • Using data analysis, user research, benchmarking and auditing to inform strategic recommendations
  • Briefing implementation of content strategies to internal and external stakeholders

You'll get involved in ideation sessions and translate great conceptual ideas into actionable ideas, developing integrated content campaign ecosystems and associated measurement and learning plans to improve client performance. You will also manage 1/2 Content Executives and one Manager, supporting their development and aiming to get them ready for promotion.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

In this role, you'll bring your experience of working in a similar content consultancy type role along with a familiarity of recommending key content approaches to clients.

You'll have:

  • In-depth industry experience, ideally within an agency environment
  • Experience with SEO and/or social content
  • A solid understanding of digital media
  • Strong writing and listening skills

You'll also have a solid understanding of tools and metrics which can measure the effectiveness of content and understand how to report this back to the clients.
