If you are looking to leverage AWS cloud technologies and tools for statistical analysis of data, this Data Operations Engineer role is for you! 

As a member of the Data Operations team, you will play a key role in building & supporting tools and infrastructure in AWS. You will collaborate with engineering and product for catering the data needs. You have a deep knowledge of data warehousing and analytical skills using SQL or related querying languages. You possess knowledge of enterprise data pipelines using ETL/ELT processing and a passion for automation using Python. You are excited to partner with technology, product development, and business leaders and express a passion for complex problem-solving. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product, engineering & business teams to define and optimize the data operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for data & analytical technologies including, Redshift, SQL Server, Alteryx, and Tableau.
  • Write complex SQL for data analytics understanding the business trends and providing optimal solutions aligning with the engineering team.
  • Build data models and internal Tableau reports to understand operations and support trends.
  • Automate standard data operations tasks using Python and SQL.
  • Handle change management and release management for AWS services.
  • On call support and training support team.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience on Microsoft SQL server or related technologies
  • Advanced experience using SQL
  • Experience in Performance Tuning
  • AWS Cloud experience, preferably Redshift, S3, and/ or EMR
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
  • Reporting technology experience such as Tableau
  • Experience in release management and change management

Preferred

  • Strong scripting skills Python/ R or related
  • AWS Lambda, Micro services
  • Strong understanding of Infrastructure, DNS, and Network
  • Self-motivated individual

Compensation Range: $70,000-$105,000 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
