Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Commercial

  • Support on APAC media commercial finance requests relating to regional and global client pitches, fee and staffing discussions, regional client contract reviews and other ad hoc commercial requests.
  • Provide ongoing support to APAC business and market finance teams for regional and global clients, including but not limited to contract queries, fee negotiations, coordinate requests from global and finance operation matters. Participate in discussions with clients as necessary.
  • Coordinate across APAC markets on client reporting. Review local market submissions to ensure compliance and consistency across markets.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders including market finance, business teams, global teams, legal and tax teams where applicable/ necessary to provide complete, accurate and timely deliverables.
  • Perform analysis on client profitability and revenue reporting as required. Support business leads to ensure business structure and processes are delivering optimal operating efficiencies. Develop, implement and monitor measures where necessary.
  • Support local markets on local market client audits.
  • Ad hoc requests from global teams, clients and other business stakeholders. Provide data which is complete, accurate and timely.

Communication and Teamwork

  • Work closely as a team to ensure that requests and issues are addressed.
  • Establish strong communication channels with global, regional and local management to ensure that business issues are efficiently and effectively communicated and feedback obtained on a timely basis.

 

Qualifications

BACKGROUND:

  • The ideal candidate preferably to have prior experience in a media / advertising industry with commercial finance, business partnering or FP&A work experience.
  • Candidates with a background in finance, finance business partnering or FP&A are also welcome to apply.
  • A minimum of 5 to 6 years work experience.
  • Audit experience in an accounting firm and/or experience in APAC markets would be an advantage.
