Job Description

We are looking for a Management Accountant, who will report into the Cost Finance Manager and be responsible for reporting and analysing the Publicis Media UK cost base, across one of our main brands, Zenith P&L, as well as working across the other 3 brands.

As our Management Accountant, you will be working closely with key stakeholders across your relevant business units.

You will be support on the actual monthly results for both P&L and overhead analysis, as well as assisting in any internal and external audit, ensuring compliance in all areas. You will be responsible for billing all intercompany costs between Publicis Media brands and some client T&E (what’s this?). You’ll also work with the Finance Managers and Financial Controller to produce full periodic and quarterly cost forecasts

In addition, you will review monthly spend with the departmental heads (across Facilities, Research and Talent), as well as assisting in the development of financial processes and procedures.

Qualifications

As our Management Accountant, you will be part qualified, (AAT, CIMA, ACCA or have a relevant Accounting or financial qualification), you will have a good level of Excel (v-look ups) and SAP experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential.

You will be an excellent communicator and find it easy to articulate financial information to non financial colleagues across the business.

Experience working across the media industry with complex revenue streams would be an advantage. What you will need is the ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy and efficiency. Cost control, monitoring and reporting exposure would be highly desirable. Experience of working with non-financial people in order to explain cost variances is required. It would be beneficial, but not essential, if you had experience of managing a finance team.
