Job Description

We’re looking for an outstanding Associate Director—someone who is passionate about digital advertising and has a desire to architect the future of how Zenith approaches and buys digital media in an ever-changing landscape. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced digital media star to actively drive performance for some of the largest brands on the planet. As an Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for oversight of your team and all campaign management activities they perform. You will be accountable for ensuring best practices are followed by your team and campaigns are set up, managed, and operated according to strategic plans. You will also assist in final QA of campaigns prior to launch. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvement and working to implement improved processes with your team. You will be the representative for the Precision team within Zenith and should be able to explain to internal/client leadership complex programmatic concepts in an easily digestible manner. You will help guide the overall media strategy while ensuring it aligns with client marketing strategy. You will be responsible for delivering against and exceeding client KPIs.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage the daily workflow of key Zenith accounts, including proposal development, campaign activation and maintenance, and meaningful post-buy recaps 
  • Interface with Strategy and Activation media teams to build strategic campaign plans, communicate recommendations, and identify and deliver new solutions in a collaborative fashion
  • Manage and inspire 3-5 direct reports
  • Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosities
  • Review client deliverables for quality, ensuring that recommendations are sound and viable
  • Own development and review of strategic proposals, coordinate across teams to account for all relevant inputs
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures for campaign implementations
  • Understand and effectively communicate our value proposition, technology, and processes as related to the growth of current and prospective agency accounts
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance
  • Participate in forecasting exercises for senior management
  • Adopt established account management standards and program management best practices
  • Support training, mentoring, and development of team members
  • Participate in regular sessions to share and learn new strategies for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance
  • Assist in the development and documentation of best practices for improving communication and collaboration within the Precision team

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree
  • Solid understanding of programmatic digital media planning & buying elements
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to organize and manage detailed work, as well as work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • 5+ years of integrated marketing agency experience managing Display, Video, Social, Native, Mobile, and/or Search Programmatic Media Buying (some hands-on buying experience mandatory)
  • 3+ years of people management experience, managing or more reports in an account management/client services team
  • Full working knowledge of programmatic technology, including vast knowledge of the general programmatic space (DSP marketplace, programmatic planning tools, best practices, Ad Networks, Exchanges, PMPs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions
