Job Description

  • Manage paid search campaign performance against client goals
  • Budget and performance projections for testing new search partners or technology
  • Assume accountability and ownership of Search campaign execution for assigned client accounts, including a weekly/daily status control sheet
  • Recommendations for using paid search to support new client objectives or campaigns
  • Embrace and encourage a culture based on teamwork, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Adopt established account management standards and enhance campaign best practices
  • Maintain accountability for QA procedures across upcoming and live campaigns
  • Regularly challenge the status quo and bring innovation to all levels of the organization
  • Performance reporting with insights and optimization recommendations
  • Delegate projects across the team as needed
  • Review client deliverables for quality and ensure that any recommendations are sound and viable
  • Partner with Director to develop processes for improved workflow within Zenith and between agency partners and vendors
  • Maintain stellar relationships with the vendor partners to further advance Zenith as a preferred client partner
  • Providing formal training to new team employees
  • Developing and presenting SEM best practices to internal agency partners
  • Selling in recommendations for new campaigns and strategies
  • Optimization recommendations for existing campaigns based on reporting and analysis
  • Working to master, identify, and communicate trends in search and in client industries
  • Invest in the development of junior team members through regular 1:1 meetings, identifying career development opportunities, being a sounding board for questions, building a technical-based skill-set
  • Fiscal accountability for proper investment of media dollars as outlined in agency IOs
  • Participate in billing and forecasting exercises for senior management, including monthly client billing audits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
  • 2-4 years of account management experience in paid search advertising; client side or agency side preferred
  • Hands-on experience using core SEM tools such as Bing, Google, and SA360
  • Experience with YouTube, Pinterest, Shopping Campaigns, and/or Data Studio a plus
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organization, and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and balance multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to move at an agile pace
