Overview:

• Provide support to Finance Department with focus on costs in preparation of Month End and Forecast submissions while reporting to the Finance Director 

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with Finance Manager to gain understanding of all personnel costs. Involved in updating salary database, preparing journal entries, track all employee movements (Leavers/Joiners/Transfers), as well as open positions & maintaining freelancer budget
• Responsible for all aspects of the Research Budget, including monthly journal entries, forecasting and budgeting while interacting with SRG team.
• Preparation of Client Profitability reporting; maintain employee allocations, tracking time entry, confirming revenue and all other client related costs.
• Support in completing all Groupe reporting, scheduled and ad hoc
• Work with and gain knowledge of the several financial and media databases that are updated on monthly basis
• Assist in preparation of supporting documents for financial audits

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration (accounting/finance majors preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in finance/related field
• Experience in Media industry a plus
• Experience in P&L financial reporting with an emphasis on personnel and overhead costs
• Proficiency with Excel, SAP and Hyperion
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills required
• Must be very detail oriented, display a strong work ethic, and work well both independently and within a team structure
