The Publicis Media Exchange (PMX) Operations team supports PMX and Publicis Groupe business units with insights, analytics and forecasting to help drive growth and share of spend. This can include revenue, margin and pricing analyses, as well as insights and strategy for new products. This team also provides operational analysis and assessment of key technology, operational structures and best practices to streamline the administration and execution of media buys placed through PMX and its various businesses.
The PMX Operations team reports to the PMX Chief Operating Officer to develop PMX-wide growth strategy, cross-division pricing and commercial models, and create tracking mechanisms to monitor pacing against Groupe financial targets.
The Director, Growth Operations will collaborate across the PMX Operations team and the broader company to:
o Manage delivery of Revenue Operations support to APEX Exchange (APEX) EVP, Client Development and APEX EVP, Managing Director Strategy & Operations including but not limited to:
o Weekly billings and revenue forecasting and pacing, offering channel, vendor and client insights in changes week over week
o Biweekly creation of forecast and pacing visualizations for APEX leadership and client development team
o Monthly billings forecasting and pacing with executive agency stakeholders
o Annual budget planning support and year over year trends and analysis
o Develop commercial models and yield strategies across platform, media, and data products
o Scorecard the revenue growth, share and margin by channel
o Conduct strategic financial planning and analysis for high-priority growth initiatives
o Develop market analyses and business cases to drive incremental revenue and margin while reducing operating costs
o Manage and recommend key technology and customizations to support business
o Manage Salesforce license in US and support potential global rollout
o Project manage in house engineering resource for customization specifications to Salesforce
o Communicate product specifications for in house agency forecasting tool
o Aggregate and harmonize data from multiple sources (Salesforce, MBOX/PRISMA, in house agency forecasting tools, etc.)
o Build trusted relationships across the various Publicis teams, organizations, and partners
o Manage and oversee Manager, Growth Operations and Senior Specialist Sales Operations
o Create and present materials for executive management reviews
The successful candidate should have:
o BA/BS in Business, Economics, Finance or Strategy related discipline; pre-MBA candidates preferred
o 7-9 years of relevant experience
o Related experience in media, advertising, technology, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or finance preferred
o Established credibility with senior leaders and management
o Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to prioritize deadlines
o Demonstrated skills in financial analysis and cross-functional collaboration
o Good people management and mentorship abilities, able to coach and cultivate high performing talent
o Expertise in Excel & PowerPoint with high attention to detail
The ideal candidate should be well versed in financial analysis and business strategy that includes direct experience with finance, operations, and sales groups. Executive presentation, PowerPoint design, financial modeling, and project management are all desired skills.
