About the opportunity:

Reporting into the Group Business Director, your role as the Account Director is responsible for leading the relationships and delivering best in class solutions for two of Starcom’s larger clients, one a portfolio of local retailers and the other a global brand. The role is planning focussed, so the right candidate will have a strong understanding of all channels and how they can be utilised to deliver the best business outcomes for our clients. You will inspire, motivate, mentor and lead a small team of 3 people whilst working closely with

The key outputs of this role are:

  • Insights fuelled strategic recommendation in collaboration with Strategy team
  • 360 Connected experiences through inspirational content & connections planning
  • Briefs to media which are born out of strategic direction and solicits best innovative media solutions. Assume overall responsibility for communications mix, experience design and channel allocation as well as holistic campaign learning
  • Sell in & manage planning recommendations with key clients

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of media experience, ideally within an agency planning role
  • Media planning experience, strong traditional media knowledge and mid-level understanding of digital
