We have an exciting new global role in a growing team working on a world leading beauty brand with ambitious goals.They are the global leader in fragrances, with the number two position in salon hair and number three in colour cosmetics. They are one of Publicis’ top global clients with over 40 markets as part of our network to date.

You would be working in an agency that is growing. We know the challenges are getting harder and clients need to react faster, and you will play a pivotal role in making these bolder moves for our client. You will have the opportunity to take them down different, braver, more profitable paths and lead the way on one of the most globally recognised Beauty Brands. 

They have an iconic portfolio of more than 70 brands organised by three divisions:  

  • Luxury (e.g. Kylie, Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu)
  • Consumer Beauty, including cosmetics, hair, skin and body care (e.g. Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Adidas)
  • Professional Beauty (e.g. OPI Nails, Wella Professional, ghd, Clairol)

Job Description

As Global Strategy Senior Executive, you will join the Luxury team for the Coty account, based in London at Zenith’s HQ. You will report directly to the Global Strategy Manager and work closely with the Global Strategy Director.

You will support to produce work that drives re-appraisal of communications and what media can do in the world, and your work should be seen as one of the key levers working to drive the agency forward:

As a Global Strategy Sr. Executive you will be:

  • Supporting the Strategy Manger in the development of global strategic recommendations that solve client challenges.
  • Helping to create the global strategic recommendations and thought leadership pieces (new trends, innovative media opportunities…) that guide our client & local markets in conjunction with the Strategy Team.  
  • Analysing audiences & data to identify trends, opportunities and make strategic arguments to produce compelling arguments.
  • Helping to strategize, produce and make sense of the key cultural, consumer and market intelligence required to design the best possible holistic communications plan to deliver on that task.

You will be a key member of the Global Luxury team and will have contact with global Coty clients as well as external partners and colleagues across various disciplines within Publicis Media.

Coty is a large and complex business supported by Zenith in 40+ markets and across three divisional hubs (Luxury, Consumer Beauty, Professional). This role therefore requires a person who is agile and responsive to meet the ever-changing needs of a face-paced business.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical & numerical skills and able to understand and interpret data.
  • Have experience on audience analysis & understanding tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong research abilities – desktop research, industry literature, other disciplines & departments within and outside the account and/or agency.
  • Valued, but not essential.
  • Strong written and oral skills- able to come across clearly and succinctly share ideas & argument rationally (in email or over the phone).
  • Strong ability to create & put together a narrative / storytelling based on data, insights, trends & learnings to answer briefs.
  • Not afraid to share ideas, ask questions, challenge & actively participate and contribute to discussions, work sessions… towards finding answers.
  • Experience in collaborating with other people, across different discipline to gather the relevant information.
  • Experience in media and specifically global network collaboration.
