Job Description

Do you love people, psychology, design, data and combining it all with your UX design and research chops?   Our growing Product Design team is seeking a full-time User Experience Researcher with a passion and hands-on ability to help turn complex industry challenges into useful, usable and desirable advertising technology experiences. You will work along a smart, passionate, and empathic team to concept and design industry-changing digital products that enable our agency teams to win in a very competitive marketplace.

A successful candidate will be curious, creative innovative with a zest for problem solving and ongoing learning and growth. 

Role Objectives:

  • Conduct, collect and analyze user behavior through concept testing, usability tests, user surveys and interviews, benchmark studies, competitive analyses and A/B testing.
  • Work with Product Designers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Engineers and other key stakeholders to prioritize and conduct research opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research and project planning.
  • Test product and/or feature requirements and synthesize these into a concise document to help drive direction, scope and purpose.

  • Play an active part in the creation and refinement of UX research processes, deliverables and capabilities.
  • Be able to effectively communicate and articulate ideas and concepts, while also being open to receiving feedback and direction
  • Embraces and encourages a culture based on team work, collaboration, and intellectual curiosity
  • Assist in educating other team members

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a User Researcher (or Equivalent) conducting user research such as surveys, user testing, A/B testing and competitive analysis.
  • Strong business acumen: the ability to relate, understand, grasp concepts, and interpret client/user needs.
  • Ability to develop surveys, polls and other methods to allow for actionable insights and optimization to occur
  • Demonstrated experience in understanding and solving for usability problems
  • Capability to write effective surveys, polls, research scripts that elicit insights
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint & Excel.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision on multiple concurrent projects
  • Strong ability to work independently as well as in groups
