Job Description

The Managing Partner is responsible for the overall leadership of client and businesses of Nestle.

The role will be reporting to Chief Media Officer and will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy and long-term vision for the division, including its profitability, client service, new business and staff development.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management: Guides and directs the team members’ in the creation, execution, and communication of policies, goals, and objectives for the continual of division business growth and profitability, and relationships within the organization is harmonious.

Brand Development Strategy: Analyze business and consumer trends, identify key issues facing the business, build and execute innovative marketing and general management plans by demonstrating above average consumer insight/strategic brand building capability and possess effective multiple and concurrent project management skills.

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective client service, proactive problem solving and the successful execution of all facets of account management with clients, agencies and media owners. Improve and uphold agency evaluation.

Innovation and Renovation: Identify new, consumer insight driven, innovative ideas to drive brand growth. Develop new product ideas, renovation to current products and strategies. Evaluate the strategic implications of media/ industry/brand developments and identify opportunities & threats to businesses (short to long term).

Investment Management and Budget Allocation: Understand and meet client procurement requirements. Develop strategies for effective master contract negotiation.

Partner with Finance on potential tax issues.

Communications: Manage all area communications with stakeholders - collaborating across teams, including operational know how, platform nuances and capabilities, troubleshooting, recommendations, and implementation to ensure the smooth running of the division operations.

Revenue Management: Full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility, including monitoring on an on-going basis, billings and campaigns performance relative to estimates and client-defined KPIs; communicate progress of revenue to budget forecast to the management team on a regular basis; and proactively escalate and communicate any potential risks.

Identify opportunities for organic growth of the business.

Uphold financial policy and integrity to avoid violation or potential fraud. Resolve all ageing matters. Manage resources (e.g. staffing, time, systems, etc.) to ensure profitability of team

Business Partner Management: Leverage good relationships with business partners (e.g. creative, media owners), hence the ability to obtain updated information that contributes to the brand objectives and value-add to clients. Establish partnership processes with business partners (e.g. rules of engagement). Establish rapport and understanding with senior business partners and ensure clear documentation on all communications. Negotiate and seal master contracts.

People Leadership: Leads and drives strategies and programs that maintain a working environment that supports team member’s professional growth by creating strong performance standards and review, learning and development opportunities, succession plans and programs that reward high performance. Ensure productive working relationships among team members and between agency departments, other agencies, clients and media vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or MBA
  • Min. 10+ years in media industry (online & offline media)
  • 5+ years of team management experience
  • Good in business acumen/ Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Target and results driven
  • Good leadership & client management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication & presentation skills
  • Excellent time management / project management skills, with ability to manage detail work and communicate project status effectively to all levels
