The Associate Director (AD) of Content and Digital Partnerships works to create and execute best in class programs and partnerships for Zenith clients, while overseeing a team of Supervisors, Negotiators and Assistants.


Reports to VP of Content & Digital Partnerships (Investment)

Direct reports may include Supervisors, Negotiators and Assistant Negotiators.

 

Responsibilities
Account management:

  • Collaborate with VP and direct reports to develop content and digital strategy, driving creativity, ideation, and innovation leading to ownable consumer engagement opportunities in the digital and social space.
  • Partner with Strategy, Precision, Video, and Analytics teams to create and execute customized integrated marketing solutions, driving ROI for the brands based on their specific objectives.  Utilize consumer insights from these teams to support VP in developing the creative “hook” for each initiative, bringing a unique perspective to the marketplace to build off of – “don’t buy what’s for sale”, “create what’s not yet available”
  • Manage and support project execution, including integrated sponsorships, content creation and digital campaigns, from planning, launching, optimizing and reconciling.  Support the team in delivering efficient and innovative strategy, flawless implementation of campaigns, strategic and tactical optimizations to ensure best results and swift billing reconciliation.
  • Own a clear understanding of the content and digital marketplace and application from a brand communication, publisher, technical and measurement perspective to support best in class strategy, innovation and efficiencies for the brands.
  • Working knowledge of data and measurement capabilities available in the marketplace and within Publicis Groupe & application for brands
  • Understanding of available content and digital marketing metrics and marketplace trends
  • Maintain holistic budget management of all owned channels for forecasts and rollups as well as client budget tracker oversight alongside VP
  • Develop, recommend and support audience targeting efforts across client owned 1P, publisher 2P and syndicated 3P sources; partner with the in-house client audience team

Client Management:

  • Embody client service mentality and build valuable relationships with clients across media and marketing.  In partnership with VP, share recommendations and results to clients via formal & informal channels.
  • Understand and articulate client’s specific category expertise and knowledge of the competitive landscape.  Regularly present content and digital innovation opportunities to clients.
  • Ability to collaborate with partner agencies (including In-house Client teams, Creative, PR and Shopper teams) in order to deliver holistic strategies for the brand.

Team Management:

  • Participation and understanding of Publicis Content Practice (US and Global), including content products and offerings
  • Oversee staff responsible for stewardship of content and digital, including but not limited to ideation, development, client authorization, launch, billing reconciliation – including ad serving/tagging/tracking, reporting and legal/IAB compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with VP in promoting tight collaboration and communication with team
  • Ensure team growth through leadership, mentoring and training, with the support of VP
  • Hiring, training, mentoring, developing, and evaluating team members
  • Support the VP in driving adoption and execution of the group best practices and processes, as well as ensuring Zenith & PMX solutions and tools knowledge and understanding by their team and utilized when and where applicable
