Job Description

We require a Content Director for a 12 month maternity cover to drive revenue through new business and organic growth across UK and multi-market clients for the Content Service.

Reporting into the Operations Director and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving organic and new business growth, and be a core contributor to the evolution of the Content Service. Working in partnership with the Innovation, Social, Strategy, Creative, Production and Editorial teams, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and delivering compelling brief responses which elevate the Content service positioning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Together with the content leadership team, collaborate with client leads and agency leadership teams as a means to develop knowledge, evolve our content products and identify growth opportunities for our content teams.
  • Pro-actively reach out to client teams to seek new opportunities
  • Support the Content teams to deliver innovative, strategic responses to briefs by providing solutions to client challenges which meet their business goals
  • Have a clear POV on how our content product offering evolves, keeping abreast of market competition and innovation, and be able to discuss with senior members of Publicis Media, the wider Publicis Groupe and client senior stakeholders
  • Proactively seek out and contribute to New Business pitches working closely with agency brand and Groupe strategists to deliver compelling content responses, elevating the Content Service positioning and positioning yourself as a trusted business advisor

 

Qualifications

  • At least six years’ experience in business development within a media, creative or digital agency, including branded content
  • Proven experience working on new business pitches and managing new business pipelines
  • Commercial understanding and experience with campaign profitability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a client-facing role
  • Expert knowledge of all Content services and media channels
  • Creative & structured approach to delivering innovative responses to briefs
