Job Description

As Senior Account Executive on retail giant Lidl UK, you will be in a client-facing role and are expected to support with the day to day implementation of all Local Store Marketing (LSM) campaigns, as well as being given the opportunity to support on broader Lidl Brand campaigns where possible.

This is an exciting time for Lidl LSM as the briefing process is being handed over to the thirteen operational regions to order media packages for stores directly from Starcom, as opposed to centrally through their Head Office. This empowerment to the local level is a very new concept for Lidl and requires clear communication, excellent expectation management and a strong drive to build meaningful relationships with each regional manager.

Additionally, the successful candidate must display:

  • A clear understanding of Lidl’s business and their objectives
  • A clear understanding of the UK media landscape
  • Assertiveness in high level meetings with exposure to senior clients and partner agencies
  • The ability to deliver cross channel media plans
  • The ability to use and interpret planning tools effectively (e.g. Nielsen,TGI.net)
  • The ability to interpret, revise and reconcile plans
  • The ability to collaborate with investment teams and media owners to build outstanding campaigns
