Job Description

We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented Jr. Content Artist who is skilled in all aspects of graphic design, including mastery of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and other Adobe CS programs. This person should also be comfortable with shooting still and video content, and editing accordingly. We need someone who listens and takes direction, but is also a self-starter who can manage several concurrent work streams, keep files highly organized and labeled, and fit in seamlessly with our high-energy, fast-moving, perfectionist creative team. This person should be comfortable collaborating with art directors, designers, animators, and editors to create social and digital work (and beyond!) at scale, on tight deadlines.
 

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
•    Sit on-site at client in Northern NJ three days per week and actively collaborate with a cross-functional team (strategy, creative); the remaining two days per week will be spent at MRY offices in NYC
•    Animate, design, and edit videos and social content for various brands 
•    Partnering with team to come up with unique creative concepts that can be executed within still, video or graphic format
•    Resize and/or tailor existing creative assets to various sizes, units and placements
•    Add a level of design aesthetic to presentations
•    Work with an art director and/or designer to turn rough comps into final files
•    Work with editors and animators to provide correct files for video or animated content (such as logos, type/super design/etc.)
•    Process and quickly execute internal and/or client feedback on short deadlines

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university, previous internship experience a plus
•    2-3 years production art experience
•    Social media experience a must 
•    Ability to travel to client office in NJ and NYC office 
•    Knowledge of Adobe CC programs
•    Working knowledge of other programs, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
•    Fast-moving, able to take direction and execute accordingly
•    Team player who over-communicates and asks questions when needed
