This role is a core part of the Publicis Media UK Talent Team’s delivery. Covering a wide range of expertise, in partnership with the relevant management teams across dedicated disciplines. Responsibilities will range from enabling performance management, helping execute the business plan, overseeing employee relations, communications, change management, talent management, organisational development and reward management. This role is absolutely central to helping us drive high performance across the agency.  
 
This Talent Partner has to juggle multiple priorities, ranging from overseeing employee relations cases through to rolling out new talent solutions. The Talent Partner needs to own a continuous performance and improvement plan for their client group and day-to-day delivery of their people priorities and projects. 
 
This Talent Partner must collaborate with the other areas of the Talent team (Operations and Acquisition) to ensure both potential and future employees receive the best possible experience. Our vision is based on being the best place to work in our industry; we call it ‘A Place like no other!’  
 

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Meet with key stakeholders regularly to stay commercially abreast of their objectives, ensuring the talent plans are supporting their needs 
  • Develop and drive an integrated talent plan for your client group, ensuring the performance of the group is clearly aligned to business objectives 
  • Customise and implement the people plan for your respective client group (applying the central policies, tools, solutions) and revisit this at least quarterly 
  • Drive the talent capability development/assessment and communication in your client group 
  • Provide manager and colleague guidance on all ‘HR’ related topics, with the support of the Talent Advisor and also leaning on the operations and acquisition teams as needed 
  • Consult with client area management to address root causes of human resources issues, oversee the resolution of any employee relations issues using the ER case manager (often the Talent Advisor) 
  • Conduct any senior leavers interviews as required 
  • Analyse and understand the feedback and information provided on your client areas in Talent KPIs. Use the data to improve any concerning areas 
  • Be the lead project manager for the implementation or delivery of Talent programs and initiatives 
  • Project-manage any change management or reorganization projects by providing plan, guidance and coaching support necessary to ensure a seamless and effective transition  
  • Facilitate or run training on of effective HR law and our management style, 
  • Working with your Client group, resourcing and Talent Acquisition team, help oversee the implementation of the appropriate strategic resourcing plans 

Qualifications

  • CIPD Qualified to an advanced level, or similar qualification 
  • Excellent employment law knowledge
  • Experience in working effectively in a changing and fast-paced environment with flexible approach
  • Previous experience in similar industry preferred but not essential
  • Experience running Learning Needs Analysis, in-house and external course requirements and budget requests.  
  • Ability to deliver training as required; for example on boarding, induction, in-house craft skills and people management training.  
  • Experience coaching client groups and senior stakeholders to ensure they understand how to optimise their talent management.   
  • Full understanding and extensive practical experience of the performance management processes and tools
  • Demonstrated strong working relationships Talent Operations and Talent Acquisition
  • Partnering capabilities to work with senior leaders to develop the Engagement Programme, using data to understand the areas of focus. 
  • Knowledge of a broad range of engagement techniques to continually increase employee engagement
  • Leadership experience, overseeing and coaching a Talent Advisor
