Job Description

Key Responsibilities   
 
GENERAL: • Key point of contact for the client and the agency on H&M, Kering, NAP, Bally, GHD and KAO  

o Lead the overall relationship across UK and Ireland business  o Lead the overall relationship with creative and other agencies 

o Lead the UK relationship up to Zenith global teams where needed 

• Impeccable client service where you truly understand the client’s business challenges and needs and acts as their business partner 

• Stand out for yourself in the agency – present in planners meetings, pitching, etc. Our business directors are highly visible and champion the overall agency culture.

 • You hold Commercial accountability and have a complete understanding of client commercial and aim to always achieve a profitable delivery for Zenith. This includes the generation of new means of revenue and appropriate account resourcing together with your Client Partner 

• People – development, motivation and quality of Zenith employees 

• You hold the ultimate responsibility for the quality of planning, strategy and ideas on your accounts.  
 

Qualifications

CLIENT SPECIFIC: 
 
Client Leadership • Be a spokesperson for your brands externally along with internally in the agency. Oversee key brand manager relationships, lead all global and all interagency relationships • Responsibility as the client lead to maintain excellent client relations and lead the client in a win:win direction for both Zenith and the brands      
 
Managing Profitability • Ensure we are providing profitable solutions (in Zenith revenue terms) to clients by upselling all practices (Performics: SEO, PPC, Lead Gen, Ecommerce, Data Sciences & Insights, Content, NTN, Trading needs, etc) • Ensure we strictly manage the scope of work to keep a lean and prioritised output 
 
Planning quality, inspiration and business succeeding strategies and ideas in our planning output • Strategy creation - innovative planning and inspiration to others in group. You will be working with very talented Strategists to do this • Deliver the senior thinking in portfolio media strategy across the products areas to the Marketing Directors and GMs  
• Be a source of knowledge for clients on the category and what it means for media, incl digital in your forward thinking and innovative approach to advertising • To ensure as a team we create, develop and push big game-changing ideas through to execution  • Quality control of the agencies output – RTBs, content/influencer projects, performics execution, etc.  • Think strategically across both the traditional and digital ensure this ethos is instilled within the entire planning team • Ensure we have PR opportunities pushed and also champion internal PR in the form of ‘campaign opening night’ posters on all new ideas and launches and get our launches in the news to be PR worthy 
 
Team leadership • Ensure we have a great team culturally, encourage a sense of fun and positivity across the agency • Development of direct reports to exceed their KPI’s • Champion ROI+ planning – its culture, planning techniques and ideas • Manage cross departmental forecasting, budgeting, finance controls • Ensure excellent relationships with other agency partners and with media owners • Take ownership of your teams reputation and optimise the workload to get the most from the team while still delivering expectations and ensure strong output that is profitable • Ensure your team at developing and attending appropriate training for their level. The development of your team and their growth is a reflection of strong management skills.
