Job Description

This is an exciting role within the Starcom Planning team for Starcom’s second biggest client globally! You will report in to the Digital Planning Director and work on UK performance campaigns across mobile, tablet, wearables, home and online shop divisions. Within planning, you will overview the entire campaign process. From briefing at the very beginning, to strategic understanding and account handling through to activation, delivery and post campaign analysis. This means you will work as part of a much wider team on a daily basis with frequent client contact.

Key Duties include:
  • Support the Digital Director on Samsung UK predominantly across online channels
  • Understand the client’s business objectives, wider planning context and relevant background
  • Keeping up to date with trends both across client vertical and also within digital media, to ensure that our approach to client campaigns is using the latest category insights and best in class digital practice
  • Manage the campaign briefing process and work flow of the specialist teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of work
  • Using campaign performance insights to identify opportunities to up-weight strong performance channel strategies and where performance is tracking behind targets, identify solutions and strategies with channel specialists and Digital Director

Qualifications

We want to ensure this role is a great match for you, experience in the below would be desirable: 

  • Experience in paid search, paid social, display and programmatic marketing channels
  • Knowledge of data management platforms such as Adobe is desirable
  • Strong understanding of key platform capabilities (e.g. Google, Facebook, SA360), and an ability to talk independently about opportunities in client meetings and with team
  • Proven analytical, business planning, and project management skills
