Job Description

Responsible for significant scale projects or campaigns with multiple elements, including management of resources across multiple teams, disciplines and various project types with client contact at project level. This hybrid role offers diversity and the opportunity to develop across a broader range of disciplines but also requires a range of skills to support client and team objectives by directing resource teams on project work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manages designated shared resources across multiple teams as well as other agency disciplines on a project by project basis
  • Functions as liaison that connects teams within the agency as well as the client to ensure the orderly flow of projects and resources
  • Maintains a clear understanding of the overarching strategy on all assigned projects
  • Delivers instructions in a clear and concise manner, providing proper materials and documentation
  • Establishes strong relationships with key clients, ensuring bridges are in place for successful management at a project level
  • Participates in technical cross-functional meetings (e.g. creative, media, analytics) and ensure the team follows structured processes in place
  • Responsible for scheduling, tracking, change management, evaluating, and controlling projects
  • Demonstrates good judgment in choosing methods of communication that are most effective and efficient within the agency
  • Sets clear expectations for tasks and deliverables across teams accountable for work, communicating clearly to the team and providing proper materials/documentation when necessary
  • Prioritizes and streamlines tasks to ensure accuracy and efficiency, proactively identifying issues/risks seeking partnership from a more senior Project Manager to assist in mitigating any issues
  • Works directly with project leads to estimate effort, plan activities and develop timelines
  • Identify where altered requirements will involve extra time or extra resources and identify where efficiencies can be gained
  • Works with proficient knowledge in the area of project planning for comprehensive campaign programs and fast turnaround projects
  • Balances daily client requests alongside support of account teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects that align with client goals and vision
  • Assists senior account leadership staff in client communication and management by developing and distributing conference notes/reports, scheduling client meetings and communicating status of initiatives to relevant internal stakeholders
  • Participates in team status meetings to align internal stakeholders on priorities and goals of the meeting/projects
  • Helps coordinate client input/feedback and shares feedback with internal teams 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • More than 3 years of professional experience, which may include project management and client management in marketing/advertising agency environment
  • Solid track record of successfully developing multi-faceted projects from start to completion, on time and within budget
  • Must have strong technical background managing advanced analytics client work
  • Must be a self-starter, with strong planning and organizational skills
  • Thinks clearly and diplomatically when participating in a discussion to field complex or sensitive questions from internal groups
  • Professional presentation, training and client-facing skills
  • Effective negotiation and conflict management/risk mitigation skills
  • Should have experience in proposal creation, planning & estimation and execution of project
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in conjunction with work flow steps and internal and external processes
  • Initiative & personal responsibility for work
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Accountability and flexibility with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, team-player attitude
  • Demonstrates ability to define and implement professional standards for team participation, conflict resolution, problem solving, and communication (internally).

 

Reporting and Succession 

  • Reports to Account Director with input and oversight by Sr. Project Manager
