Job Description

Our Analytics, Research & Insights Practice creates products and analysis that fuel strategy, planning and ROI. As a key contributing member of the VM1 Insights team, you will utilize your analytical skills and business acumen to leverage data to inform strategies, optimize advertising campaigns and contextualize business performance. 

 

Successful members of our team generally have a passion for emerging tech and media, bring a data-driven approach to decision-making, have a fresh perspective and share it in a positive way, don’t shy away from a challenge, and are always hungry to learn more.

 

Among Manager candidates, we generally look for prior experience in media analytics, especially digital media. You should already be used to representing your team to external clients, since Managers are often the face of our Analytics team. We hope you’re a numbers whiz and know how to bring data to life through a compelling story. We’re also hoping you have at least a year’s worth of experience managing junior-level staff members and have at least three years of prior professional experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience with enterprise-level data analytics, digital media advertising or tech/finance
  • Advanced proactive project management capabilities that drive results from inception to execution
  • Strategic thinker who can partner with key stakeholders
  • Experience with data visualization - develop presentations and formal recommendations to senior leadership
  • Monitor industry trends, marketplace shifts and competitive behavior
  • Work in lockstep across the agency to use data as the thread that ties together Strategy, Investment & Analytics
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint skills (structure, build and present)
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills

Experience:

  • 4+ years of experience in media/tech using data and information to drive business and facilitate innovation
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau/Power BI/DOMO a plus
