Associate Director, Project Management (Temp-Perm)

Our Project Management team enables and executes great work in the smartest way possible.  We are passionate about transforming ideas into results as we constantly negotiate, organize and understand the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing and technology.

To help with this, we’re looking for an outstanding Associate Director in Project Management – a digital producer with a passion for using collaboration, the creative process and emerging technologies to produce world-class digital experiences for our clients. You’ll help create dynamic programs and campaigns for Fortune 500 clients. Our project work includes experience design and development, digital and social media programs, brand partnership activations and promotions, eCommerce and CMS implementations, CRM initiatives and content development. As an Associate Director, you will partner with clients to understand business goals and define the vision and collaborate with cross-functional teams to help plan, develop and execute exciting work. What you’ll do - As an Associate Director on the Project Management team, you will:

·      Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional leads on complex projects and strategic assignments

·      Define business goals and priorities for project planning and scoping purposes

·      Guide large, distributed teams in outlining detailed project approach, deliverable definition, schedule development and financial project management

·      Define and adjust processes to meet project/business needs and look for ways to improve efficiencies while coaching teams to do the same

·      Lead client discussions on project plans to ensure clients understand roles and responsibilities, project flow, dependencies and milestones needed in order to meet end goals

·      Participate in new business RFI or RFP requests when necessary

·      Demonstrate strong written and oral presentation skills, including deck development and storytelling

·      Enforce team compliance to company standards of high quality and professionalism

·      Participate in team and cross-capability recruiting, interviewing and resourcing

·      Attend training seminars and continuing education as offered

 

Day-to-day, your role includes:

·      Partnering with clients and team leads to define project-specific activities and deliverables against high level business plan

·      Working with clients and teams to align on solutions and go forward actions to ensure work is delivered on time and on budget

·      Problem-solving operational and project issues; assisting teams in finding resolutions and successfully leading large teams to develop risk mitigation plans

·      Actively seeking out ways to improve team and client communication and developing processes that lead to more effective collaboration

·      Demonstrating the ability to deliver constructive feedback while outlining and facilitating development plans where needed

·      Experiencing something new every day

 

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

·      A four-year degree

·      6-8 years of Project Management, Marketing or related experience

·      Mastery of mid to large-level projects and programs

·      PMP and/or CSM Certification (or desire to get this)

·      Working knowledge of enterprise tools (JIRA, MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Trello)
