Job Description

We are looking for you - dynamic, best-in-class talent - to join the team as an Associate Director of Account Services, Local Media Planning. This individual is  an experienced advertising/media agency media planning professional who will support the Account Director in the management of Tier 2 marketing/media communication efforts for five domestic automotive brands at the regional level with the ultimate goal of driving dealership traffic. Furthermore, you will manage the creative communication messaging for assigned projects and brands for a top automotive client. 

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience executing brand communication initiatives within an agency setting and experience leading a team. This is part of an energetic, high performing team that values creativity, innovation and career development.  

 

Essential Functions

·       Partner with marketing clients to develop Tier 2 go-to-market plans at the DMA level

·       Develop marketing plans that maintain individual brand consistency while addressing market-specific needs

·       Evaluate and provide communication support for local events, sponsorships, partnerships, and other local media opportunities

·       Track and analyze competitive marketing activity

·       Work with marketing clients to develop messaging for television, radio and digital advertising at both regional and DMA levels

·       Research evolving media outlets and media usage patterns and their application to local/regional marketing

·       Ability to present media plans, research and market insights to local clients

Qualifications

Education:

·       Bachelor’s degree

Work Experience:

·       Minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience at the national and/or regional level

Skills:

·       Experience developing local media plans

·       Experience developing creative communications in for all forms of media

·       Experience developing relationships with clients

·       Experience trafficking broadcast and digital creative

·       High-level skills in Excel and PowerPoint
