Job Description

This position requires a highly motivated person to assist in the day to day execution of a(n) account(s).  They will be activating digital strategic plan development and all aspects of implementation.  This individual will learn and embody Zenith’s vision of Live ROI as a mantra.

 Responsibilities:

  • Build foundational knowledge of the digital landscape
  • Assist with planning and implementation for client accounts across digital channels
  • Assist in preparing materials for presentations, data analysis and insights to clients and internal teams
  • Support Planners in billing, reporting, trafficking, analytics and research i.e. assigning Pub Codes, Insertion Order distribution/upkeep, and contact list upkeep
  • Prepare and deliver buying and or trafficking specs and guidelines

Review, verify and maintain media buys to ensure proper execution

  • ABC statements, Edit Calendars, Closing Dates/Extensions
  • Positioning Reports
  • Assist in creating Digital Media Plans

Craft knowledgeable and relevant POVs that assess media opportunities and place appropriate value

  • Assist in negotiation of Buys, Make-goods, Positioning, Value Add Negotiations
  • Learn how to read and make use of syndicated data, i.e. competitive, consumer etc. i.e. Nielsen, ComScore, Strategy, TNS, Ad Relevance, Quantcast, and others
  • Build relationships with sales reps to analyze value and applicability of media vehicles for client media plan  
  • Obtain knowledge of all ad serving vendors across platform: Medialets, Vindico, DFA
  • Assist team in day to day account maintenance i.e. meeting set-up, status maintenance, keep folders updated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree; media/advertising or related internship experience strongly preferred
  • Must have strong analytical, research, and quantitative skills
  • Must have basic knowledge of core functionality of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, detail-orientation, follow-though skills
  • Must be hard-working, resourceful and thrive in a fast-paced environment
