Job Description

Execute, manage, and deliver best-in-class measurement & insight to inform communication strategy

 

·        Primary lead for brand and consumer research analysis that yields unique insights and opportunities

·        Inform media targeting and budget allocations to ensure client advertising investment is optimized to drive results

·        Support audience analytics activities including developing precision audience recommendation for campaigns and mining target audience data for relevant and actionable insights

·        Collaborate with client research, insights and analytics team; have deep knowledge of client’s business goals and challenges

·        Leverage social listening to define category, consumer, brand and competitive landscapes

·        Proactively educate internal and external clients on research, tools and approaches

·        Command expertise in media concepts, terminology, media math and media plan execution

·        Help answer client questions, create client-ready presentations and present at client meetings

 

Drive day-to-day insights & analytics efforts while contributing to larger cross-brand learning roadmaps

 

·        Develop approaches to address complex research and measurement challenges

·        Construct and execute "test and learn" measurement and consumer research roadmaps tied to business goals

·        Support measurement execution focused on ad/media effectiveness, brand health and consumer behavior that capture campaign performance, inform optimizations and impact future plans

·        Communicate opportunities, learnings and recommendations with authority and credibility

·        Evaluate new and current data partners, and identify new approaches to ensure our research is cutting edge

Qualifications

·        5+ years in media / marketing research, consumer insight, business consulting, or digital advertising research/analytics/ insight

·        Bachelor’s degree in advertising, business, engineering, statistics, marketing, or similar discipline

·        Requires excellent project management, organization and communication skills

·        Experience with multiple methodological approaches for consumer, media and brand insight

·        Strong grounding in traditional and digital media advertising effectiveness methods including ROI

·        Familiarity with syndicated and customer data environments

·        Advanced knowledge of the measurement vendor marketplace and able to evaluate new capabilities

Knowledge of statistical software packages (SAS, SPSS) is a plus
