Job Description

This position would see you take the day to day lead across the digital FCA business: central campaign with and ideal focus on Jeep, Heritage and Abarth.

The role will also include supporting the media coordination team on digital related matters (i.e. benchmarks, tools, guidance in campaign management).

We’re looking for someone with a strong digital planning and activation background across all digital channels. It’s a great opportunity to evolve with an exciting client, working with our European coordination hub, as well as with the colleagues form the various local European Starcom offices.

The ideal candidate will be curious and analytical, highly precise and proactive, and capable of leading projects that encompass several stakeholders, both internal to Starcom and external (Client, other agencies and partners). We are looking for someone able to understand the client’s business thoroughly and then deliver effective solutions with great story-telling and leadership.  Time & project management skills, as well as a problem-solving approach, are necessary.  We’ll be looking for big thinkers, who execute the detail with diligence and take pride in their work.

 

Responsabilities:

·         Developing relationships and acting as the primary digital intermediary for relevant client side digital stakeholders; ensuring you understand their business needs and objectives

·         Working in parallel with both the central capability team and 26 local market teams to deliver best in class communications and results; driving standards to achieve the highest level of excellence.

·         Account Management

o   Liaising with FCA brand teams and stakeholders

o   Holistic planning and coordination

o   Managing inputs and expectations relating to brands

o   Digital (mostly social) campaigns management, from brief to report to administrative matters

·         Project Management

o   Liaising with FCA HQ Digital Media Team, with providers/partners and with local colleagues

o   Project Gantt creation and timely execution

o   Understanding client and local needs, and bridge the two

o   Technical understanding of the tools involved and ability to support

·         Providing support to the central coordination team in developing digital strategy and solutions  (as required)

·         Improving both internal and external knowledge of digital, through organisation of digital education sessions with business centres/FCA and Starcom global partners

The International coordination team works across multiple markets. It is a team of different backgrounds, skill-sets and interests who are united by their passion for understanding people and delivering innovative and effective communications.

While media is at the core of what we do, we are increasingly having conversations around success metrics for the business as well as improving areas such as global data management, process, efficiencies etc.

We constantly strive to push boundaries in regards to communications, balancing our reporting and detailed analytics with our clients’ unique ways of working.  Quick turn-arounds can be the rule and having a solid team behind the product helps make it manageable on a day to day basis. FCA:

·         A win for Starcom in early 2017

·         The marketing team are quite experienced so we’re looking to build on our relationship with them after a successful 2017 transition to Starcom

·         Working extensively with multiple agency partners to deliver fully integrated marketing solutions for their fast-paced business

·         The role would see you take the main day to day account responsibilities within the aforementioned FCA accounts as well as providing digital support to other members of the coordination. You’ll need to be able to juggle priorities, managing the delivery and output across a number of internal and external teams and 26 markets.

Qualifications

An energetic account manager with a proven digital pedigree looking to take the next step to hone their digital planning and international account handling skills.

They need to have the passion to deliver strategic direction and business results across a fast-paced, forward thinking client.

We are looking for someone who wants to sink their teeth into a key piece of business, with the drive to fully understand their client and deliver innovative, well thought out digital solutions, using accurate data, backed up by strong evidence-based recommendations.  You’ll have a strong digital background and be proficient across all digital media touchpoints. We are looking for someone with a proven record of successful digital campaign management. An understanding of the digital landscape is needed: knowledge of the main digital platforms (ad-server, Facebook BM, Google Ads) and of the main partners for search and social, as well as programmatic and ad verification, is required. Knowledge of multi-touch attribution partners is a bonus. An understanding of the automotive consumer journey is a bonus but not essential – it’s evolving and you’ll want to be at the forefront of innovation, breaking new digital ground.
