Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned strategic supervisor who is ready to step up into a role on a major retail account, with significant business demands and commensurate personal and professional growth potential.  We’re looking for someone with traditional and digital experience. Responsibilities:
•    Coach and manage team
•    Thoughtful partnership of account work and holistic understanding of the account’s direction
•    Strategic development of omnichannel seasonal plans
•    Collaboration across client organization and internal activation and analytics team
•    Leverage audience and competitive insights to inform strategic development
•    Requires comfort building and QAing Excel documents
•    Presenting recommendations to account service and clients
•    Resource for others in resolution of complex problems/issues

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities:
Number of Direct Reports: up to 3
 
Communicates With:
Internal:  Partners with other Strategy members, strategic resources, activation Partners, and finance
External:  Significant client, partner agency, and vendor interaction and accountability

Qualifications

Education/Experience:
•    Bachelor’s degree;
•    Demonstrated media planning experience & leadership

Business Competencies:
•    Computer Skills/Software Knowledge: Microsoft Suite, Nielsen, Kantar Software, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, Comscore
•    Solid written and verbal skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
•    Demonstrate ability to learn new propriety software and processes quickly and proficiently.
•    Understanding of Activation/Negotiation team functions
•    Understand the strengths and weaknesses of each media type.
•    Able to make independent decisions and identify priorities
•    Meet client and internal deadlines and obligations.
•    Manage projects, resources, stakeholders, and participants
•    Orient, train, assign and review the work of subordinates
•    Be able to identify and promote solutions  
•    Be a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems/issues
