Job Description

Role:

The purpose of this role in Zenith’s Global team (London based) is to lead the global digital operations set up for a global client to consolidate all their digital spend across regional hubs. The programme has over 100 FTEs located across hubs and local markets.  

The candidate will manage the overall programme globally with a direct responsibility of managing regional hubs and driving excellent standards of delivery in digital execution across a range of channels (social, direct display / video, programmatic display & video and paid search). E-commerce / marketplace activation is currently out of scope.

This is a recently created role, which will report into Benoit Cacheux.

 

The more detailed responsibilities are outlined below.

Team/Department Profile:

This programme will sit as part of the Strategic Operations team, a new team created as part of Zenith’s restructure to be closely aligned with the ROI+ planning framework. Due to the scale and strategic importance of this new piece of business, this role will oversee a distinct team of experts. The candidate will be expected to form a strong relationship with the Global Head of Strategic Operations to drive best practice and leverage valuable learnings.

 

Responsibilities:    

Overall leadership of global digital activation programme. This role will have the following responsibilities:  

-        Integrated digital activation

o   Oversee all digital activation led via Hubs and offshore activation centres to drive operational excellence

o   Oversee strategic executional guidelines focused on best practice definition for digital channel activation

o   Manage a framework allowing Zenith to track best practice implementation (e.g. BPI score on paid search from Google) and monitor improvements across all digital channels

o   Manage a group of global digital / activation leads across the group of global clients (staff based in London)

-        Reporting management

o   Oversee automated reporting via the Titan platform and Lumina

o   Oversee data governance and quality with adherence to global naming conventions

o   Work in collaboration with Head of Data & Technology (Samir Shah) and TAAG to drive optimal adoption of reporting, data & technology best practices

o   Manage QBRs with global client

-        Automation for media optimisation

o   Develop process & systems to create further automation on the management of digital media activation

-        Ad Tech oversight

o   Working in collaboration with Samir Shah and his team, ensure that client has access to the best technology stack with the optimal set up in terms of data sharing and targeting use cases

-        Drive collaboration

o   Ensure we have the highest level of collaboration and integration between the global team, hubs and local digital experts

o   Build strong collaboration with strategic agencies working with client locally

-        Consultancy on capabilities

o   Support client by providing consultancy services to help our clients build stronger capabilities (e.g. data, technology)

-        Partnership management

o   Contribute to the management of partnerships / JBPs with the relevant media owners / technology companies

-        Data compliance / governance

o   Provide support on GDPR related questions (focus on data activation)

 

Qualifications

Key requirements:

Senior leadership experience in media agency (focus on digital media experience)

Strong knowledge and experience of digital media (incl. programmatic)

Expertise in ad tech management

Deep knowledge of data-driven media planning

Commercial acumen

People management experience

Privacy Policy
