Job Description

PSI is undergoing rapid transformation, with technology and digital innovation becoming central to our operations. As we increasingly engage with SaaS, cloud, and AI providers, we are seeking a Legal Counsel who understands the legal risks associated with these technologies. The successful candidate will support PSI Legal team by reviewing and negotiating contracts efficiently and pragmatically, while also helping PSI stay ahead of evolving regulatory developments.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Review, draft, and negotiate technology-related contracts (SaaS, cloud providers, AI solutions, etc.)
  • Monitor and interpret emerging data regulations across jurisdictions (data protection & privacy laws, AI regulations, data localization requirements, etc.)
  • Support compliance with NIS2 and other cybersecurity regulations
  • Assist in the implementation of a contract management tool and AI solutions for Legal
  • Contribute to the Data Governance project, particularly around data classification and retention schedules
  • Work closely with PSI’s Legal, Data Protection, InfoSec, IT and business teams to align legal strategy with operational needs
  • Stay abreast of legal developments in technology, data, and AI, and share insights with the broader Legal team

Qualifications

  • Law degree, with 5+ years of post-qualification experience, ideally in technology, data, or regulatory law
  • Familiarity with EU regulations such as GDPR, NIS2, and the EU Data Act
  • Experience in multinational legal environments and cross-border compliance
  • Exposure to legal tech tools and digital transformation initiatives is a plus
  • Advanced contract drafting and review skills
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word
