This role focusses on Human Capital | Project Management | Engineering | Environmental | Compliance | Risk Management | IT Effectiveness | Business Process | Training Knowledge Management Solutions for clients such as Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) | SRMC Supply Chain / Procurement supporting the Liquid Waste Program under DOE prime contract 89303322DEM000068 Generally Located In Aiken, South Carolina and across the Southeast | South Atlantic | CONUS Region (Of Country/World) Working On-Site (Client Site).

Provide Quality Control (QC) Services and Solutions as a ProSidian Engagement Team Member working in a capacity that Supports quality control activities through planning, analysis, coordination, documentation, compliance, quality assurance, and stakeholder support..  Verify construction quality at the point of execution through disciplined inspection, surveillance, documentation, and issue resolution.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Senior Quality Control Engineer II | Quality Control (QC) [L00344]

Safety is a primary responsibility in each job performed. Obtain safety training, obey safety rules, and make safety an integral part of each task. Take necessary steps to stop work if continuing the activity is unsafe or will create and unsafe condition.

•  Directs personnel to implement quality requirements and to accurately status the results.
•  Reviews design output documents in accordance with approved procedures to establish inspection requirements in quality assurance procedures, construction plans, and/or work packages.
•  Coordinates with internal and external sources to resolve quality issues and provides status of the inspection/test activities to stakeholders for the work activity.
•  Reviews technical criteria, personnel qualifications and work sequence on work packages including the notation of hold points prior to performance of inspections.
•  Directs the quality inspection activities of subordinate QC Engineers and other inspection personnel as assigned.
•  Performs or leads the performance of inspection, witness, test and/or surveillance, and documents the results of the inspection activities.
•  Assists in resolution of complex codes, specifications and drawing interpretations. Leads the performance of inspection, witness, test, and surveillance of the inspection activities, and ensures the results are documented.
•  Assesses the completeness of quality related activities and verification documentation prior to preparation of quality control releases for turnover.
•  Reviews suppliers or subcontractor's quality program for compliance to established procedures, attends mobilization meetings and monitors their activities for proper implementation.
•  Reviews suppliers and/or subcontractor's quality verification documentation for traceability and specification compliance.
•  Reviews, assesses and statuses subcontractor’s costs, manpower and materials.
•  Approves suppliers and/or subcontract invoices and application for payment prior to submission to procurement.

Desired Qualifications For Senior Quality Control Engineer II | Quality Control (QC) [L00344] Candidates:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science) and 6+ years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering in the fields of operations, maintenance, construction or industrial manufacturing. 

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• - Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (engineering or science) and 6+ years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Engineering in the fields of operations, maintenance, construction or industrial manufacturing. OR;
•  Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical discipline and 7+ years relevant work experience as described above OR;
•  Associate's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience described above OR;
•  High School diploma or GED and 10+ years of relevant experience described above.
•  US Citizen

Note: A two-year technical diploma will be considered equivalent to an associate's degree.

• Certification with continuing technical training is required for performance of inspections and surveillance activities. Specialized training may also be required to support certain technical areas
