Charlotte, NC (Ballantyne) Family Seeking (ISO) a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver starting thru the next four (04) Years. The job requires cooking for our kids (2 Boys), kids laundry, school pick-up - sometimes taking them to school; maintaining clean bed made rooms and play areas; helping with homework; assisting with daily hygiene routines; attending activities (basketball/swimming/soccer); packing and preparing travel bags (meals | school workbooks | sports equipment); administering authorized medications; etc.
Will work with both parents but report directly to the wife of the family for all work-related activities, guidance, and direction. We are looking for a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver to join our team and provide excellent childcare to our 2 Boys. As a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver, you’ll take care of children, keep them safe and clean, plan meals for them, and organize creative and educational activities based on their age.
Pick Up/Drop Off to and up from school and occasionally, other extracurricular activities. If you love working with children, appreciate a structured professional and nurturing environment, and, also feel comfortable handling the less appealing tasks, such as tidying up children’s rooms, we’d like to meet you.
Job Description
Ultimately, you’ll reassure parents that, even when they’re not around, their children remain in a safe and pleasant environment. One parent typically home Daily and at least once per month we go to the theater (typically a weekday) - weekends maybe but rarely. One Pet Dog. Standard work schedule shall/can/will be MONDAY thru FRIDAY.
Compensation & Performance: Employee’s Regular Weekly compensation will be based on a standard hours per week. In some cases, the standard work hours shall be amended to accommodate the closed or out of session school days to standard hours. The employee will be paid weekly (depending which day is the end of the work week) with appropriate Federal/State Deductions made through accommodations for IRS Tax Withholding.
NANNY/CAREGIVER RESPONSIBILITIES: For providing safe/nurturing care to 2 children - Boys. Parents employ on a live-out basis. The Nanny/Caregiver will have full-time work - per week. There is no set of specific academic requirements to be a Full-Time Nanny/Caregiver.
PAID VACATION/LEAVE: Work-life balance is important and this job also provides paid vacations and days sick leave annually. Also for periods where the family is on vacation but the nanny is available to work, the nanny shall still receive their regular weekly salary. The Nanny/Caregiver is not required to travel with the family but may be asked to accompany family on out of town/country travels so a passport may be necessary.
Formal training would be preferred but can be superseded by or extensive experience – a good recommendation is that candidates have work experience as babysitters or had worked for a daycare center, or in early childhood education. Other useful points for this area is having a high school graduate or college degree, experience or training in CPR and first aid programs, no criminal record, a clean driving license, and a reliable vehicle.
