Job Description
The purpose of this role is this to partner with the sales team to articulate the business value and Client's solution offerings to current and prospective customers.
Key results areas and accountabilities
The role is accountable for the following activities:
- Revenue generation through Presales support for both new and existing customers
- Participating in the development of sales strategies for new business and customer growth, and assisting to implement these as successful sales campaigns
- Presenting Client's solutions across all levels of the target organisation
- Undertaking prospect ‘Discovery’ including research, calls, and face to face workshops, to uncover key business drivers and customer buying criteria
Qualifications
- Deep domain knowledge of the target industry
- Min 5 + years’ experience offering complex product solutions in a Presales role
- Demonstrated experience in a dedicated period in a ‘Presales’ role contributing to; sales planning, tender response input, customer “Discovery”, business plan analysis/solution mapping and presentation of solutions to internal and customer audiences
- In depth experience with Client's Utilities software or competitive solutions within the customer domain
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales growth targets
- Experience in cross border, cross cultural workplaces working in a global matrix organisation
- Bachelor's Degree related to the target industry
- Involvement in professional, industry and regional affiliations is desirable.
