Job Description

The Director, Practice Operations is responsible for managing the region's clinically integrated multi-specialty practices in order to drive performance results, and for overseeing operational strategy for the state of Florida.

  • In coordination with Strategic Operations team, lead out on standing up processes and making key decisions to define the structure for the market
  • Assist in making key decisions to define the structure for the market in partnership with market leadership
  • Identify areas of opportunity for improvements by leading out on Monthly Operating Review meetings that review financial & clinical KPI metrics
  • Facilitate the transformational journey for all the physician practices in the region from Fee-For-Service to Value-Based Care
  • Present and report out in formal market meetings like board meetings, physician leadership meetings and town halls
  • Lead operational teams and key strategic initiatives that support market growth and value creation
  • Performance financial and operational analytics for physician practices and different business units
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred. MHA, MBA or Healthcare Master’s preferred
  • 8+ years healthcare experience required; working with physicians and medical group staff preferred
  • Experience establishing operational processes and teams for a new business model preferred
  • Experience managing a team to achieve individual and shared goals
  • Quantitatively and financially focused; must know how to set appropriate KPI metric goals and hold teams accountable to reaching those goals, must be able to manage a balance sheet and explain financial data
  • Tech Savvy
  • Successfully developed and achieved quality improvement measures in a medical field
  • Managed multiple projects while providing exceptional client service
  • Must provide reliable transportation
  • Must comply with HIPAA rules and regulations

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $130,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% & restricted stock units. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
