Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Facilities to support the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) at Bolling AFB in Washington, DC.

The successful candidate will support federal facilities operations and projects by coordinating requirements, managing deliverables, monitoring performance, improving business processes, and providing clear reporting to government leadership. This position requires someone who can work effectively across facilities, program management, contractor, and government stakeholder teams.

Candidates with experience supporting Facilities Services organizations, federal facilities programs, space management, facility operations, process improvement, or infrastructure-related projects are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple facilities-related projects from requirements definition through execution and closeout.
  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, facilities personnel, contractors, and support organizations to ensure project requirements and deliverables are met.
  • Support facilities planning, operational readiness, space utilization, and organizational requirements.
  • Develop project schedules, milestones, action plans, status reports, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
  • Identify operational and facilities-related process gaps and recommend practical improvements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, process documentation, and project documentation.
  • Collect, analyze, and present facilities and project data to support management decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level reports, dashboards, briefings, and presentations using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Visio, and related tools.
  • Track project resources, costs, budgets, and contractor performance as required.
  • Support quality assurance, compliance, risk management, and continuous-improvement activities.
  • Coordinate requirements across multiple organizations and maintain effective communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation in accordance with government requirements.
  • Support facilities audits, assessments, surveys, and data-collection activities when required.
  • Assist with space-management and facility-planning initiatives, including the collection and validation of occupancy, organizational, and facility data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve facility utilization, workflow efficiency, reporting, and operational performance.
  • Perform other project management and facilities-support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, requirements, schedules, deliverables, and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing project documentation, SOPs, process maps, reports, and executive briefings.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and/or Power BI.
  • Ability to work independently in an on-site federal environment while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a federal Facilities Services Directorate or Facilities Management organization.
  • Experience with facility planning, space management, workplace planning, occupancy management, or facility audits.
  • Experience supporting DIA, DoD, IC, or other national-security organizations.
  • Experience with ARCHIBUS, AutoCAD, Revit, GIS, or other facilities/space-management systems.
  • PMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process-improvement certification.
  • Experience working with classified environments and government information systems.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards and data-driven management reports.
  • Experience with federal acquisition, contracts, COR support, or contractor performance management.
