Welcome to Poppin! We're here to revolutionize event planning, ticketing and advertising. We're building an all-in-one, centralized social platform for teenagers and young adults to find parties, throw parties, and build their social network.

On our app, users can create profiles and browse parties near them by using a variety of different filters. They can see who's going, when the party is, and explore their friends' profiles to see what parties they've been to and what they are up to! Users can also host events on the app; both large parties, and small gatherings; and manage who will be attending.

We're a startup born out of UCLA and are looking to rapidly scale up over the next few months. If you love our product, understand our vision and have a growth mindset, we want you to join us!

To join one of our internships you will:

• Currently be studying at university / recently graduated
• Be anywhere in the world! (We do require you to be physically present in the United States to transition from an internship to a larger role)
• Have some interest / experience in web or app development (if you have computer science experience, that's a plus)

What will I be doing?

You will be involved in:

• Development: You will have the opportunity to help build and maintain frontend and backend systems across the web / iOS and Android.
• QA: You will assist in maintaining a high-level of quality for production

You must have passion and a drive to succeed, which are both crucial for working at a fast-paced startup like Poppin.

We believe in lifelong learning, so it's fine if you're not an expert at Web or App Development, we'll teach you :). However, given the rapid technical development, we ask that you have at least a year of software development experience (classes, bootcamps, internships, clubs, etc).

Knowing any of the following technologies is a plus and will help route you to the correct team: Java, Kotlin, SwiftUI, Golang, HTML, CSS, Javascript
