Job Description

Your Influential Mission: You Will…

  • Manage and support the development and implementation of compliance strategy and jurisdictional compliance activity.
  • Develop, monitor and maintain compliance control frameworks, policies and procedures, ensuring they are embedded into business processes and decision-making.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into clear, timely actions for the business.

  • Lead and coordinate internal and external compliance audits, following through on findings and remediation actions.
  • Prepare clear compliance reports for senior management or the Board when required.
  • Act as a key contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring filings, reports and communications are accurate and submitted on time.

  • Represent the business in relevant industry forums and regulatory meetings, building strong relationships with regulators and external stakeholders.

  • Understand multi-jurisdictional gambling regulation, licensing and compliance frameworks, ideally with exposure to Spain and/or Latin American markets.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in law, business or another relevant field.
  • Communicate exceptionally well in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Can work with limited supervision, make sound decisions independently and take full ownership of deadlines and linked cross-team assignments.
  • Combine strong analytical judgement and attention to detail with the confidence to influence and engage stakeholders at different levels.
  • Work as a genuine team player, sharing information and supporting others even when managing your own portfolio independently.
  • Are based in Malta or able to work from Malta for this role.

You’ll Get Extra Points for…

  • Professional fluency in Spanish, which is a strong priority for engagement with Spain and Latin American markets.
  • Direct B2B gambling compliance experience covering Spain and/or Latin America.
  • A master’s degree or a relevant professional compliance qualification, such as ICA or Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional certification.
  • Experience representing a business in regulatory meetings, industry forums or complex licensing discussions.
  • Additional language capability relevant to Playtech’s international markets.

  • Collaboration across an international compliance team and wider Playtech business units.
  • Open knowledge-sharing, practical support and collective problem-solving.
  • Professional growth through exposure to multiple regulated markets, senior stakeholders and complex compliance matters.
  • Diverse perspectives, inclusive teamwork and the freedom to be yourself at work.
