Your role int the nutshell:

As a Junior IT Administrator, you will play a vital role in providing technical support and assistance to our employees, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a junior-level professional to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills in a dynamic IT environment. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of MacOs and Windows environments, possess knowledge of Google Workspace, and be familiar with Directory service (such as Active Directory or JumpCloud). Troubleshooting skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and a willingness to learn and grow are essential for this role.

 

What keeps you busy during a day:

  • Provide first-level technical support and assistance to employees in person or via email.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for both MacOs and Windows platforms.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of user accounts, email accounts, and other IT systems.
  • Maintain and monitor the Directory service, ensuring user accounts and access rights are up to date.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, such as JumpCloud or Jamf.
  • Assist with Google Workspace administration tasks, including user provisioning, permissions management, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain scripting solutions using Bash/Shell or other scripting languages to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Support Linux (Ubuntu) environments and assist with system administration tasks as needed.
  • Familiarise yourself with ITIL practices and contribute to the implementation and improvement of IT service management processes.
  • Assist in the management and administration of Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of security measures under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and address security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Assist in monitoring and analysing security incidents and events, and participate in incident response activities.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices to enhance the organisation's security posture.

Qualifications

 

  • Junior level IT administration experience or recent graduate in a related field.
  •  Must be residing in Kraków and available to come to the office when required.
  • Strong knowledge of MacOs and Windows operating systems.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace from a user's perspective.
  • Knowledge of Directory service (such as Active Directory or JumpCloud) and their usage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with end-users.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as JumpCloud or Jamf.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace administration.
  • Proficiency in Bash/Shell or other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) operating system.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
  • Experience with Atlassian products, such as Jira and Confluence.
